A 30 mm telephoto with a Sony IMX662 sensor works alongside a wide-angle camera for easier target acquisition and composition. Use the wide field to frame the Milky Way or star trails, then switch to the telephoto for detailed views of nebulae and the Moon.
Automatic GoTo and intelligent celestial tracking reduce setup time and keep targets centred during sessions. In equatorial mode the mount supports exposures up to 90 seconds, letting you integrate longer without star trails when aligned correctly.
The telephoto path includes Astro, Dark and a Duo-Band filter that targets H-alpha and OIII emission lines. The Duo-Band filter helps improve contrast for emission nebulae, especially useful from light-polluted locations.
The DWARFLAB app handles capture, stacking and on-device post-processing so you can complete imaging sessions from a phone without a laptop. RAW files can also be exported for further processing in desktop applications such as Siril or PixInsight.
At about 184 mm tall and 840 g, the DWARF mini fits a travel kit. It includes a built-in 7000 mAh battery, internal 64 GB storage and USB-C charging, making it suited for short backyard sessions or dark-sky trips with minimal additional kit.
